Paris has state and private museums. Here is a selection:

1. Musée d'Orsay
Several types of tours can be done on this major museum which houses : the art from 1870, the cut of date for the Louvre, up until to 1905. It has an extensive collection of Art Nouveau furniture, including entire rooms from the Universal Exhibitions in 1889 and 1900; scale models of the Opera house.

2 The Louvre

The Louvre has only one guided tour in English a day and it is often booked up.
We propose a general tour or thematic tours, such as: The Italian masters, The French masters, Sculptures, The Egyptian collection and Mesopotamia.

3 Musée Carnavalet
Musée Carnavalet is specialized on the history of Paris, starting from the
Middle-Ages with a collection of old street signs, Paris through the ages in
paintings, there is a special section dedicated to Paris during the Revolution
and there is a beautiful Napoleon III wing.

4. 5. Centre Georges Pompidou, Museum of Modern Art
Modern Art in Paris are housed in Centre Georges Pompidou or also known as
Beaubourg, in the center of the Halles where one can go up and admire the
view of the city and Montmartre, and in the Museum of Modern Art near Trocadero
which specializes more in early modern art (1905).

6 Musée Rodin

7 Musée Delacroix, a museum situated in the center of the Latin Quarter

8. Musée Dapper
Paris is one of the centers for African Art, you can admire well-chosen examples at Musée Dapper,
a private museum with selected objects.
